Obituary of Kathryn DeMoor (Hasilo)

In Loving Memory

Mrs.  Kathryn Lucia De Moor of Delhi passed away at Juravinski Hospital , Hamilton on Saturday, November 30, 2019 in her 66th year. Kathy had a passion for classic cars, loved cruising in her 1971 Dodge “Super Bee” and could always be found travelling with her husband Ron in their classic car. At home, she had a special love for her golden retrievers named Hudson & Abby. Formerly Kathryn Hasilo, beloved wife of Ronnie De Moor and loving step-mother to Scott (Amy), Kevin (Kristy) and Ryan De Moor (Julie). Cherished grandmother of Madison, Marya and Evaritt. Much loved daughter of Sarah (Koteles) Hasilo and the Late Steve Hasilo (1989). Dearest sister of Steve Hasilo and Bill Hasilo and sister in-law of Linda Jacobs (Frank), Lorraine Meiszner (Ernie), Annette Jewell (Gary) and George Van Hooren as well as several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her mother in law Mary De Moor (2010), by her sisters in law Shari Hasilo (2015) and Deanna Van Hooren (2013) and by her nephew Derek Hasilo (2016). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Donations to the Hamilton Health Science Foundation (Juravinski Cancer Centre) or to the National Service Dogs (NSD) will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
