In Loving Memory

Mr. Roger Goddyn of Brantford and formerly of Delhi, passed away peacefully at Hardy Terrace Nursing Home, Brantford on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 in his 83rd year. Roger was a Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 125 (Delhi) where he loved to play darts and help with building repairs. He loved to do puzzles at home. Beloved husband of Meta (Currin) Goddyn. Loving father of Paul Goddyn and father in law of Frank Hargas. Cherished grandfather of Tabitha, Samantha (Carlos), Justin (Dawn) and John and great grandfather of Ethan, Chasin and Kyra-Ann. A Special Uncle to all his nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his daughter, Lorrie Hargas, by his brothers, William and Wilfred, and by his sister, Mariette. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 125 (Delhi), 249 Main Street of Delhi, on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
