Mrs. Liliane Knockaert of Delhi passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, October 3, 2019 in her 76th year. Liliane enjoyed watching a variety of sports, especially Football and NASCAR and loved travelling to Flamboro Downs to see the horseracing. Bingo & Reading were just a few of her many interests. She was a former Member of Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs C.W.L. and Member of the Delhi Belgian Club. Former Liliane Julie DeBacker. Beloved wife of the Late Michel "Mike" Knockaert (1996). Loving mother of Randy Knockaert (Jan). Cherished grandmother of Ryan. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Liliane will also be missed by her special furry friend “Niki”. Predeceased by her two brother-in-laws. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Purrrfect Companions of Delhi or Camp Trillium/Rainbow Lake will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
