Obituary of Elaine Williams (Siverns)

Mrs. Elaine Williams of Delhi, passed away with family at her side at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, August 31, 2019 in her 79th year. Elaine was the current President and Long Time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 125 (Delhi). She was a member of the Church craft group and constantly knitting something. Although she crocheted too, she would work without a pattern to make blankets, clothes, tablecloths, sweaters, and anything else she put her mind. The former Elaine Evelyn Siverns, beloved wife of James "Jim" Williams. Loving mother of Diane (Jamie), Darlene (Brian), Rick (Frankie), Doug, Dennis (Marg), Barbara, Lisa and Wanda. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and many great grandchilden. Dearest sister of Rev. Ted Siverns (Betty) and Cheryl Gourlie (George). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her infant daughter Vanessa (1958), by her stepson Jim (2018), and by her brothers Richard Siverns (2012) and Doug Siverns (1976). A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #125 (Delhi), 249 Main Street, Delhi on Saturday October 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Donations to the Legion Poppy Fund can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
