Mrs. Patricia  VanVlierberghe of R.R.#1, LaSalette, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, July 29, 2019 in her 77th year. Pat enjoyed gardening & travelling. She loved going to the casino and her passion was spending time with family & friends. Former Patricia Ann Bentley. Beloved wife of the Late Albert VanVlierberghe (1999) and the Late Jim Childs (1971). Loving mother of Debbie Barresford, Deborah Childs (Walter) and Jack Childs (Marlenis). Cherished grandmother of T.J., Tina, Shawn, Amanda, Savannah, Madison, Courtney and great grandmother of Lennon and Norah. Dearest sister of Laura and Cherron. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her son, Terry Childs (2016) and by her grandson, Devin Childs (2018); and by her two sisters: Vera and Lillian; and by her three brothers: Bruce, Don and Andrew. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on  Friday, August 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the London Health Science Foundation, the H-N Community Senior Support Services, or the March of Dimes Canada will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
