Obituary of Patricia Konietzny

In Loving Memory

Mrs. Patricia Konietzny formerly of Brantford & Delhi passed away at the Caressant Care, Courtland on Friday, January 3, 2025 in her 61st year. Patricia was a beacon of love, creativity, and compassion. Born and raised in Brantford, Ontario, she ultimately settled in Delhi, Ontario, where she devoted herself to raising her family and creating a life filled with love and connection. A talented and passionate artist, Patricia found inspiration in just about anything—from the serenity of nature to the challenge of self-portraits. Her artwork reflected her thoughtful, dynamic perspective and was as vibrant and unique as she was. Patricia had an extraordinary gift for caring; embracing everyone she met with open arms and an open heart. She loved unconditionally, treating friends and strangers alike as though they were her own family. Her free spirit shone through in every aspect of her life, including her deep connection to nature, her love for animals, and her passion for rock ‘n’ roll music. Whether listening to her favorite tunes or soaking in the beauty of the outdoors, Patricia had a way of finding joy and inspiration in every moment. Despite many years of battling illness, these traits never changed. Her unwavering acceptance of others and her boundless kindness left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know her. Patricia’s legacy lives on in her children, her art, and the countless lives she touched with her warmth and creativity. Loving mother of Justin (Lindsay), Richard (Katelyn), Jaime (Ryan) and their father Martin Konietzny. Cherished grandmother of Madison, Warren and Kinzey. Former Patricia Monahan and dearest daughter of Hazel Flaherty and the Late Phil Monahan. Loving sister of Jay Flaherty, Dave, Kathy, Pauline and Dan Monahan and the Late Jim Burton. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Friends may call at the Delhi German Home (Downstairs Lounge), 443 James Street, Delhi for a Celebration of Life to be held on Sunday, January 19th, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.   Memorial Donations to the Campfire Circle (Camp Trillium / Rainbow Lake) or to the Charity of your choice can be made through the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
