Obituary of Jean Edmonds (Smith)

Mrs.  Jean  Edmonds of St. Thomas, and formerly of Delhi, passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in her  86th year. Jean enjoyed cooking and baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She travelled with her friends when she could and was fond of Optimist Bingo, bowling at the German Home and going to the Casino every once in awhile. Former Aletha Jean Smith. Beloved wife of the Late Bill Edmonds (2003). Loving mother of Tim (Ann) and Don (Eileen). Cherished grandmother of Katie, Michael, Brad, Mark and Thomas. Also survived by nieces and nephew, Rhonda, Ken & Sheila and several nieces and nephews in B.C. Predeceased by her sister, Marian Person (2007) (Late Roger, 1998). As per Jean’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held with Rev. Judy Barker officiating. Memorial donations to the STEGH (St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital) Foundation (Continuing Care) or Spina Bifida Association can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) and  will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
