Obituary of Dana Morgan
In Loving Memory
On November 4, 2024, Dana Patrick Morgan went home with his Lord, to be healthy and pain free. Dana was a past resident of Delhi and Woodingford Lodge in Tillsonburg. He was born on August 11, 1956 to Norma Jean Spence (2020) and stepfather Robert “Bob” James Huson (2018). Over the years, he enjoyed being both a spectator and participant in activities such as euchre, golf, bowling, curling, soccer, fishing, softball and fastball, which he umpired for many seasons. Some of Dana’s favourite past times were making cookies, wood cutouts and John Wayne. Dana was an active member of the South Brant Legion in Oakland for over 48 years. During his life, one of Dana’s favourite activities was to volunteer in his community, anything from Girl Guide cookie selling, DPS hot dog day barbequing, Strawberry Fest Committee, helping the Delhi Library, D.E.S.R. Car Show, Delhi United Church and so much more. Dana passed on his love for people, humour and volunteering to the most precious part of his life, his daughters. Dana leaves behind his wife Kim Morris-Morgan of 41 years, and daughters Lyndi-Colleen and Amberlee. He is the brother of Rodger (Hanorah), Late Wayne (2000) (Lorraine), Late Ron (2024) (Amy) and Tim (Cheryl). Dana is also predeceased by in-laws Doug (1984) and Grace (2010) Morris and sister-in-law Pamela (1985). He will be missed greatly by the Morgan, Morris, Spence and Mitchell families. Many friends have been by his side during his health over the years, and for that he was grateful and enjoyed your friendship. Dana was also very thankful for the love and caring that was given to him by his family at Woodingford Lodge. Family & Friends can join Kim and their daughters to share his life at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service held in the Chapel at 12:00 noon and given by friend Pastor Kevin Babbey. Interment in Scotland Cemetery. Donations to the Delhi United Church and the Arthritis Society will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
