Mrs. Kathleen “Kathy” Elliott of Simcoe, passed away at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 3, 2024 in her 87th year. Kathy and her husband Jack were proud farmers, tending to their many crops together for many years. She loved to travel and go bowling at the German Hall in Delhi; playing bridge at Delrose and watching her grandkids play hockey and other sports. Member of the Boston Baptist Church. Former Margaret Shirley Kathleen Lalone. Beloved wife of Jack Elliott for 69 years. Loving mother of Patricia Vanthuyne (Scott), Mark (Heather) and Cindiann (Will). Cherished grandmother of several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Betty Brock. Predeceased by her parents: Harry (1966) & Nellie (Shewchuk) Lalone (2006) and by her two sons, Jack (1978) and Robert (2022). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery.
