Obituary of Elsie Maltais
In Loving Memory
Mrs. Elsie Maltais, formerly of Kitchener-Waterloo, passed away peacefully at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre, Delhi on Friday, October 18, 2024 in her 94th year. While Elsie leaves behind loved ones, there is comfort knowing she is reunited with her loving husband, Larry (2011). Elsie was born in Montreal, grew up in Denmark and later moved back to Kitchener-Waterloo, where she was a compassionate personal care worker. Elsie was a strong-willed individual who was creative and artistic. She was a passionate seamstress and enjoyed sewing and knitting. Elsie also painted beautiful porcelain pieces while working at Royal Copenhagen. She will be truly missed and survived by her daughter, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone at Delhi Long Term Care Centre, who cared for and assisted Elsie for 11 years. You have truly become her extended family and we are forever grateful.
