Obituary of Larry Bilger

In Loving Memory

 

 

Mr. Larry Charlton Bilger of Delhi passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, June 17, 2019 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Joanne (Grimster) Bilger. Loving father of Rebecca Caverly (Bruce), Carolyn Mattice (Charles), Kelly Person (Ken), Jeffrey Bilger (Kathie) and Allyson Veinot (David). Cherished grandfather of Charles (Becky) & Emily (Dave), Kristin (Pat) & Kara (Matt), Emma & Grace and Ellen & Andrew and great grandfather of Felix, Colton, Sylvi-Anne, Rosalie, Aaron, Brooks and Jordana. Dearest brother of Morgan Bilger. Predeceased by his daughter, Leslie Marie Bilger (1956), by his brother Alec Bilger (2005), and by his sisters in law, Marie Bilger (2014) and Marie Bilger (2004). A Private Family Interment was held at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Delhi District German Home on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Celebration of Life Service at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Ted Smith officiating. In memory of Larry, donations to the Who Did It Club (Simcoe), the Delhi Community Health Centre or the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) and at the Memorial Celebration of Life Service, and will be gratefully appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. Thorogood and all the staff at the Delhi Medical Centre, the staff at CCAC, Dr. Nagrani and the staff of Norfolk General Hospital, ICU and palliative care units.
