Obituary of Agnes Tallian

In Loving Memory

 

Mrs.  Agnes Tallian of Delhi passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in her 93rd year. Faithful Member of St. Ladislaus Hungarian Church, Courtland and the Delhi Hungarian House where she volunteered for many years for all their events.  After retiring from many years of hard work on the tobacco farm, she worked 13 more years as a Nurses Aid at Norview Lodge, Simcoe. Agnes will be fondly remembered for her love of family and friends, Hungarian cooking/baking, gardening, Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. Former Agnes Cecelia Herics. Beloved wife of the Late Joseph Tallian (1994). Loving mother of Helen Peeters (Brian) and Marianne Tallian. Cherished grandmother of David Peeters (Hannah) and Taylor Peeters (Megan).  Dearest great-grandmother of Leeda and another one on the way. Treasured sister of Mary Bozso (Late Paul, 1998) and Elizabeth Horvath (Late Nandor, 2015). Agnes leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Canada & Hungary. Predeceased by her three brothers, Ernest Herics (1988) (Late Anna, 2001), Joseph Herics  (Late Magda) and Alex Herics (2011). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment in St. Ladislaus Cemetery, Courtland at a later date. Memorial Donations to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or the Charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
