In Loving Memory

Mr. Fred George of Toronto passed away at the North York General Hospital, Toronto on Saturday, January 6, 2024, in his 88th year. Son of the Late John George (1958) and Rosa Sipos (1958).  Beloved husband of the Late Eleanor George (Evens) (2006) and loving grandfather to Eliza Romand.  Cherished brother of Frank George (Alice) and sister Rose Brown (Donald).  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his brothers John, (1993) (Elizabeth) (2010), Joseph (2009), Charles (2017) (Isabel) (2001), James (1985) (Eleanor) (2006), and William (2015).  Fred enjoyed going for long walks, Blue Jays games and spending time with his granddaughter Eliza and dog Annie. Fred will be deeply missed. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi 519-582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
