Obituary of Cecile Rayner

Mrs. Cecile Marie Rayner (Duval) of Delhi, passed away at her home surrounded by family on Friday, November 3, 2023, in her 80th year. In her 80 years, Cecile created a lifetime of cherished memories with her family and friends, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone she met. Her legacy of love and friendship will continue to inspire and guide us as we move forward without her physical presence. Cecile dedicated her life to caring for others, selflessly nurturing and supporting those in need. All will forever remember and cherish her compassionate spirit and unwavering love. Beloved wife of Ronald Rayner. Loving mother of Kathy Rayner-Puddicomb (Tony), Ron (Lisa) Rayner, and Cassy (Kevin) Roberts. Dearest sister of Marissa Stephenson (Jerry) and Theresa Lariviere. Cherished grandmother of Melissa (Slaven) Djurdjevic, Cory (Heather) Rayner, Kailee (Josh) Mabee, Alana and Logan Roberts. Treasured great-grandmother of Hensley, Hudson, Lucas, Scarlett, Benny, and Miller Jane. She was predeceased by her brothers Raymond (2023) and Paul (2022). The family will hold a Celebration of Cecile's Life at The Royal Canadian Legion in Port Dover, 212 Market Street East on November 17th, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the SickKids Foundation and Purrfect Companions (Delhi) in her honor. Memorial Donations can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care)  and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
