Obituary of Susan Emre

In Loving Memory

Ms. Susan Emre (nee Morden) of Delhi, passed peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, September 9, 2023 in her 70th year. Susie was a devoted partner, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She treasured spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. You could often find her sitting on her porch with friends and loved ones. As a kind and devoted woman, she brought joy and togetherness to all that knew her. She will be deeply missed by her cherished partner William ‘Bill’ Raine, her daughters Corrie Emre-Wiatr and Jessica Moir, grandchildren Ara, Jory and Ethan and great grandchildren Jukka, Finne, Crimson and Heartley, as well as her brother Larry "Spike" Morden (Charlene). Susie is also survived by several step children, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her parents, Betty (Mires, 2014) and Jake (1996) Morden, by her husband, Michael Emre (1989), by her sister, Carol Morden (2017) and by her brother, John Morden (2000). A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 125 (Delhi) on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. with Prayers at 2:30 p.m. A Private Family Inurnment will take place at Delhi Cemetery.
