Mrs. Mary Varga, formerly of Delhi, passed away peacefully at Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Thursday, August 24, 2023 in her 94th year. Mary was a proud Member and Past President of the Delhi District Hungarian Hall & Ladies Society for over 50 years. Former Member of the Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Women’s League. Former Maria Magdelen Spanics. Beloved wife of the Late Luke Varga (2010). Loving mother of John (Elizabeth), James (Debbie) and Joseph. Cherished grandmother of Karen (Alex), Dianne, Jessica (Blake), Christine (Tyler), Emily (Tyler), Rachel (Scott), and Andrew. Proud great grandmother of Hudson. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and inlaws. Predeceased by her brother, Late John Spanics (2022). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with CWL Rosary at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Augustine Ogundele officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Norview Lodge (Resident Activity Fund) or the Charity of Your Choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
