Obituary of Ronald VanElsacker

Mr. Ronald VanElsacker of Scotland, Ontario passed away surrounded by his family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, August 21, 2023 in his 79th year. Ron was a lifelong tobacco farmer with passion for growing and working his land personally. He obtained a private pilots licence and enjoyed many years of flying over his farm and surrounding area.  Beloved husband of the Late Linda (Burke) VanElsacker (2003). Loving father of Neil VanElsacker (Teresa), Kevin VanElsacker (Britney) and Alicia Blizman (Luke). Cherished grandfather of Paige, Landon, Hannah, Micaiah, Camryn, Kevin, Liam, Hayden and Noah. Ron is also survived by four great-grandchildren and by several nieces, nephews & in-laws. Predeceased by his brother Bill VanElsacker (1997) and by his grandson, Tyler VanElsacker (2012). A Private Family Funeral Service will be held with Interment in Delhi Cemetery.
