Obituary of Lenore Roelens (Phipps)

Mrs. Lenore Roelens of Tillsonburg, and formerly of Delhi, passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in her 90th year. Lenore was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #526, Ladies Auxiliary in Teeterville. Family was very important to Lenore, and she wrote many poems about her family, expressing her love for them. She liked to bake and cook as well as play Bingo. Former Lenore Bessie Phipps. Beloved wife of the Late Leon Harold Roelens (2015). Loving mother of Gregory Roelens (Theresa), Matthew Roelens (Karen), Rebecca Hanna (Don), Leon Roelens (Marie), Rod Roelens (Carrie) and Jaime Roelens. Cherished grandmother of twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Vera and Arlene. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her son Christopher Roelens (1992) and by her siblings; Vivian, Jim, Nelson, Carol, Arnold, Allan and Sandy. As per Lenore’s wishes, a Private Celebration of Life Service will take place. Inurnment in Delhi Cemetery.
