Mrs. Lorraine Marie LaFrance (Dierick) of Port Dover passed away at Dover Cliffs Long Term Care on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in her 85th year. Lorraine is predeceased by her much-loved husband of 54 years, Edward “Ted” LaFrance (November 4, 2018). Loving mother of Sandra (Ward) Fletcher and Tommy (Cristina Zanella) LaFrance. Cherished grandmother of Ryan Hannah, Natasha Fletcher and Neil Fletcher. Dearest sister of Norma Sinden, Jeanette Walters and the Late Roger Dierick (1973). Lorraine will be remembered as a former long-time tobacco farmer in Vanessa, where she worked alongside Ted and their family for many years. She had a kind heart, a sharp wit and gained immense joy from spending time with her family and many friends. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. A special thank you to the Dover Cliffs staff who provided such amazing love and care to our Mom. A Private Family Funeral Service was held.
