Obituary of Florence Gardner (Dunn)

Mrs. Florence Gardner of Delhi passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, April 29, 2019 in her 92nd year. Faithful Member of St. Alban's Church, Choir and Fellowship Committee in Delhi.  She was an avid curler, bowler and golfer. Florence was a devoted volunteer at the Delhi Public Library and Dedicated Supporter as a wife & mom for the Delhi Fire Department for over 68 years. Former Florence Margaret Dunn. Beloved wife of the Late Gary Gardner (1985).  Dearest mother of Rick Gardner, Late Sheryl Gardner (2017) and Greg Gardner (Jane).  Cherished "Gram" of Scott & Erin (Lucas) Gardner.  Loving sister of the Late Dorothy Boisvert (2014) (Leo, 2013), and the Late Madeline Innes (2016) (John), and sister in law of the Late Gail Crandon (2012) (Ted). Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 for visitation on Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Delhi on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Brown officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations to the St Alban's Memorial Church Fund or to the Delhi Public Library will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
