It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Handsaeme of Delhi, a mother, grandmother and great grandmother at the age of 77, at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Former Linda Darlene Lefevre. Beloved wife of the Late David McConnell for 23 years who predeceased her on January 22, 2022. Loving mother of Jeff Handsaeme and Shelley Boyd (Rick). Cherished grandmother of Britny (Anthony), Brianna (Josh) and Brook (Colton). Great grandmother to Britny & Anthony’s daughter, Nola. She will be sadly missed by many family, friends and by her dog, Missy and by her cat, Fluffy. Predeceased by her parents: George & Norma (Sandham) Lefevre. The Family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Thorogood and all the nurses of the Norfolk General Hospital for their support & kindness at this difficult time.
