Mr. Francis Duyvestijn (Franciscus Johannes Gerardus) of Delhi, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in his 76th year. Francis worked for Sunlife Insurance for 47 years. He had a passion for music, especially Dutch Music. He loved to be with his family and enjoyed cooking for them. Beloved husband of Kim Duyvestijn (Farion). Loving father of Elisha Duyvestijn (Owen), Chantal Duyvestijn (Jeff) and Kurt Duyvestijn (Elise). Cherished grandfather of Eleanor, Wade, Harvey, Jacey, and Austin. He will be missed by many family and friends. He will also be missed by his grand-pets, Murphy and Franny. Predeceased by his grand-dog, Penny. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ted Smith officiating. Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
