Mrs. Jeanne Bacro, formerly of Delhi, passed away peacefully at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in her 97th year. Jeanne liked reading but she loved playing cards. Vegas and the Casinos were her favourite destinations with her daughters where she favoured video poker. Former Jeanne Marie Demeester. Beloved wife of the Late Remi Bacro (1989). Loving mother of Judy Sinnaeve (Robert), Mary-Jean Bacro-Stanley (Greg), Annette Thournout (Jim Van Laecke), and Christine Bacro. Cherished grandmother of Lisa Radford (Simon), Michelle Smith, Adam Sinnaeve (Andrea), Shane Stanley (Brittany) and Darren Stanley (Hayatt). Treasured great-grandmother of Sam & Cameron Radford, Keira Smith, Clarke & Isla Sinnaeve, Cooper & Amelia Stanley, Hudson & Makenna Stanley. Dearest sister of Robert Demeester and Roland Lazou (Elaine), and sister-in-law of Dina Demeester and Madeline Ferket. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her son-in-law, Jerry Thournout (2010), by her brother, Valere Demeester (1999), and by her sister-in-law, Edna Demeester (2011). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on  Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Delhi Community Health Centre or the Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Memorial Fund will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
