Obituary of Monique Verbraecken

Mrs. Monique R. Verbraecken of Delhi passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in her 92nd year. She and her husband, Ernest enjoyed dancing and listening to music.  They spent many Saturday nights at the Belgian Hall or German Hall with their friends.  She also received an award from the VON for being a caretaker for Ernest for several years.  She had volunteered at Caressant Care in Courtland for several years helping with bingo and other social activities. She loved to go to the Casino and play cards with her friends and family. She had a big heart for animals especially cats. Former Monique Vermeulen. Beloved wife of the Late Ernest Verbraecken (2020). Loving mother of Nancy D'Hulster (the Late Cyriel, 2014) and Robert Verbraecken (Heather). Cherished grandmother of Emiel D'Hulster, Ryan D'Hulster (Mallory) and Robby Verbraecken. Treasured great-grandmother of Colton D'Hulster, Landon D'Hulster, Summer Verbraecken, Ethan Verbraecken and Lilith Verbraecken. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. A Private Family Service will take place. Interment in Delhi Cemetery.
