Mr. W. Brian Stead of Lynedoch, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in his 81st year. Brian was a well respected Provincial Court Justice for over 20 years in Simcoe as well as a lawyer for the previous 18 years. He enjoyed sports, particularly coaching the boys basketball team at the high school and watching the Masters and March Madness. Brian also enjoyed his time hunting and fishing while spending time with his animals. Beloved husband of the Late Ann (Gates) Stead (1984). Loving father of Geoffery and Stephen (Emma). Cherished grandfather of Ava. Dearest brother-in-law of Marie Gates and Uncle of Chris Gates. Special companion of Barbara Ann (Kovacs) Zorad. As per Brian’s wishes, a Private Family Funeral Service will take place. A Celebration of Life Wake will take place at The Greens at Renton, 969 Concession 14 Townsend, Simcoe, on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial Donations to the Camp Trillium/Rainbow Lake can be made through the Murphy Funeral Home, Delhi (519) 582-1290 and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
