Obituary of Lucien Cattrysse

Mr. Lucien Cattrysse of Delhi passed away at the Tillsonburg Retirement Residence on Sunday, December 11, 2022 in his 91st year. Lucien had a passion for farming. He moved to the RR#3 Delhi farm when he was just 17 years old and stayed there for 72 years doing what he loved most. He was very proud of his family and looked forward to any time they could all get together. Beloved husband of Justine Cattrysse (Volkaert). Loving father of Andrew (Sharon), Marc (Marianne), Joseph (Christine) and Lucien Jr. (Yordanka) and father-in-law of Joanne Cattrysse. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his son, Arthur Cattrysse (2012) and by his grandson, Ryan Cattrysse (2018). Also predeceased by his brothers and their wives: Julien (Irene), Adrian (Gabriel), Firmien (Mary) & Felucien (Margaret). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
