Obituary of Elizabeth Spohn

Mrs. Elizabeth Spohn of Delhi, passed away peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, on Friday, November 25, 2022 in her 94th year. Elizabeth was born on December 12, 1928 in Tevel Hungary.  She was the daughter of the late Josef Pucher and Katharina Stier.  Elizabeth met and married the late Frank Spohn Jr and together they operated a farm near Delhi.   Loving mother of Ron Spohn (Rosalee Mitchell Spohn).  Cherished grandmother of Nathan Spohn.  Dearest sister of Rosie Deutsch.  Survived by her cousin Elizabeth Schweitzer and sisters-in-law Irene Spohn and Mary Virag (George).  Predeceased by her brother, Joseph Pucher (late Katherine) and brothers-in-law Otto Deutsch, Tony Spohn (late Annie), Joseph Spohn, Carl Spohn and Jack Spohn (late Rosemary).  Elizabeth is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Charles Akinloye officiating.  Interment in Delhi Cemetery.  Memorial Donations to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
