In Loving Memory

Robert Byron Wilson of Delhi, son of the late Harvey and Emily (Swanton) Wilson passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home after a brave fight with cancer on August 2, 2022 in his 81st year. Robert was actively involved with the Peace Lutheran Church in Tillsonburg.  He was an ambassador for the Lutheran Laymen’s League of Canada and Lutheran Hour Ministries, including running Norfolk County Fair Booth. Robert and his wife Joyce loved square dancing and singing in the church choir, playing the piano and working on the family farm. Beloved husband of Joyce Wilson (Hattle) for 53 years. Loving father of Byron Wilson, Aaron (Andrea) Wilson and proud grandfather to Lauren and Liam. Cherished brother Kenneth (Wendy) Wilson and treasured uncle to Cory in Calgary. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on August 9th, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, Tillsonburg on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.  with Pastor Paul Schallhorn officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Lynedoch to follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
