Obituary of Shirley Covington

Mrs. Shirley Covington of Delhi, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the age of 92. Shirley was a Proud Member of the Delhi United Church and Teeterville United Church. She enjoyed Curling and skipped in Norwich. Shirley also liked golf, the Toronto Blue Jays, Raptors, and Maple Leafs but she enjoyed spending time with her loving dogs. Former Emma Shirley Westcott. Beloved wife of the Late Allen Covington (2012). Loving mother of Linda Ebdon (Jeff) and Chris Covington. Cherished grandmother of Sean Ebdon (Charlene), Richard Sarafinchin (Tracy), and Laura Clark (Kevin) and great grandmother of Leah (Seton) & Kara Ebdon and Ayden, Emma & Jasmine Clark.  Also survived by nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her brother, Melvin Westcott (Late Bonnie). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., followed by  Funeral Service to be held at the Teeterville Cemetery after the visitation at 4:00 p.m. Donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation or the Delhi Community Health Centre will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
