Obituary of Fred Dol
In Loving Memory
Our hearts are shattered to announce that Fred Dol of Delhi passed away at his home with his family by his side on Sunday, May 15, 2022 in his 68th year. Fred was a busy man all his life. He was a hockey coach, a scout leader and worked at both VandenBussche Irrigation in his early career and retired from Stelco as Millwright. He was the greatest story teller which kept all visitors in the garage entertained. He had extensive love for his family and his classic cars. He loved to be outdoors, taking care of his gardens and lawn, with the joy of his life being his 5 grandchildren. He lived his dream and was ready for his next adventure. Beloved husband of 48 years to Ann Marie (VandenBussche) Dol. Loving father of Rebecca Dol (Billy Davison) and Marie Steiner (Jeff). Cherished grandfather of Jordon, Shelby, Wyatt, Nash and Clara. Dearest brother of: Paul Dol (Hilda), Carol Chesney (Bob) and Bill Dol (Chris) and brother-in-law of: Chris VandenBussche, Debbie Sinnesael (Ken), Marc VandenBussche (Mary) and Laura Knack (Brian). Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents William (2018) & Willy (2017) Dol, by his father & mother-in-law Roger (1979) & Theresa (2014) VandenBussche and by his son, Gerry Dol (2018).
