In Loving Memory
Mrs. Rena Storp (Verbuyst) of Brantford, passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Friday, May 13, 2022 in her 85th year. Member of Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs, Catholic Women’s League, Delhi Belgian Club and the Delhi Senior's Centre. Prior to moving to Delhi, Rena was an active Member of St. Anthony Daniel's Catholic Women’s League, Scotland. Formerly Rena Maria Verbuyst. Beloved wife of the Late Roger Storp (1999). Loving mother of Nancy Hryhoriw (Mark), Lori Bannister (Mark), Debbie Judd (Don) and Joe Storp (Marjorie). Cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren: Jessica (Ben), Wes (Becky), Steve (Brittany), Kurtis (Allie), Jill (Nick), Bailey (Josh) and Wyatt and 6 great-grandchildren: Gracie, Duncan, Graham, Jaxon, Scarlett and Nora. Rena is survived by her sister-in-law Mary and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents: Gerard (1983) & Maria (Pyl 1989) Verbuyst, sister Yvonne Vandekerckhove (2021) (Late Andre 1999), brother Roger Verbuyst (2010) (Late Julia 2004) and by her nephew Alan Verbuyst. A special thank you to the Staff at the Seasons Communities Retirement Home and her dear friends residing there. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Church, Delhi on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Fr. Augustine Ogundele officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation (BCHS), the Delhi Community Health Centre or the charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
