Mr. James “Jim” Hall of Simcoe, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in his  86th year. James was a devoted member of the Simcoe Gospel Chapel. He liked to work on all kinds of motors, from automobiles to lawnmowers. Beloved husband of over 60 years to the Late Carole Ann (Smith) Hall (2017). Loving father of Barb Hope (Paul) and Luann Pongracz (James). Cherished grandfather of Jill Vloet (Chris), Steven Smith (Becca) and Tanya Pogracz and great grandfather of Damien, Christopher, Trent, Chase and James. Dearest brother of Betty Cowan (Late Gerald), Bruce Hall (Nora) and Wyatt Hall (Brenda) and brother in law of Carol Hall. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Sadly missed by furry friends, Nipper and Buttons. Predeceased by his brothers John Hall and Cameron Hall and sister in law, Mary Lou Chamberlain (Late Hugh). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 for visitation on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 pm. with Pastor Marty Brown officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Lynedoch. Donations to the Leukemia Research Fund of Canada or the S.P.C.A. will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
