Obituary of Margaret Gardiner
In Loving Memory
Mrs. Margaret Gardiner of Booth's Harbour and formerly of Hamilton and Delhi, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, March 24, 2019 in her 90th year. Margaret was a lifelong figure skater from early childhood on the outdoor rink in Delhi until she was 84 skating with the seniors in Port Dover area. Her fondest memories were of Carnivals where she even performed wonderful waltzes with her sons. Margaret was also a longtime member of the Turkey Point Golf Club where she enjoyed golfing with her husband Jim. Proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 379 Port Rowan. Margaret was a graduate of the Ontario College of Arts with an honours degree in Design. Former Margaret Elizabeth Wilson. Beloved wife of the Late James Kirk-White (1967) and the Late James Harry Gardiner (2011). Loving mother of Alan (Donna), Howard (Heidi) and Benjamin (Michelle). Cherished grandmother of James (Trudy), Carl (Amanda), Howard Jr. (Jessica), Joseph (Ashley), Mitchell and Samuel and great grandmother of Emily, Alex, Abigail, Olivia, Evan, Yarrow, Hazel, and Xavier. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by an infant twin brother Lawrence (1929). A Memorial Wake will be held at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 125, 249 Main Street, Delhi on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flower, memorial donations can be made at Murphy Funeral Home, Delhi (519) 582-1290 to the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
