Mrs. Jeanne DeLeebeeck of Walsingham, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in her 84th year. Former Jeanne Valerie Lava. Born in Oudenburg, Belgium. Lifelong member and Past President of St. Michael's Catholic Women's League. Jeanne loved gardening, cutting grass, mulching leaves and tending her flower beds. Best friend and Beloved wife of the Late Jozef DeLeebeeck (2017). Dear mother of Richard DeLeebeeck ; Frank DeLeebeeck (Chris); Mary Ann Lefler (Brian Binks), Marcel DeLeebeeck; Linda Procunier and George DeLeebeeck (Tammy). Proud grandma of Nick (Barb), Darren (Nichole), Gregory (Elena), Kevin (Niki), Danielle (John), Matthew (Kate), Kaitlyn (Jim), Shannon (Matt), Andrew (Sandra), Amanda (Derek), Adam (Kelsey), Amber, Sara (Chris), Scott (Katie), Lisa (Jonathen), Kyle (Jillian), D.J. & Melissa (Daniel) and great grandma of 24. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Mary Kesteloot (Late John), and brother of Jerry Lava (Judy). Jeanne is also survived by her brothers & sisters-in-law, Late Augusta Willems (Late Josef); Late Steve DeLeebeeck (Edna); Leona Bosman (Joe); Louis DeLeebeeck (Audrey); Emilia Verreth (Late Marcel); Francis VanHende (Archie); Julie Marynissen (Case); Louise Van Rompaey (Steve); Raymond DeLeebeck; Roger DeLeebeeck (Barb); Angela Oarts (Frank) and Robert DeLeebeeck (Marion) as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by her parents Maurice & Eugenie (Lamont) Lava. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 for visitation on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and C.W.L. Prayers at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Langton on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Frank Murphy officiating. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
