Obituary of Peter Gagnon

In Loving Memory

Mr. Peter Gagnon of Delhi passed away peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in his 77th year. Before moving to Delrose Retirement Residence, Peter lived in Turkey Point, which he loved. Peter was once known as Turkey Point’s oldest teenager and aka Uncle Pete. Thanks to Holmes House in Simcoe and A.A., Peter was sober for approximately 25 years and lived a very happy life. He loved going to auctions, where he collected many treasures. Peter will be greatly missed by his long time friend, Donna Linn, by his son, Peter John (Sacha), by his daughter, Marissa, by his sister, Susan Hasilo (Steve), by his stepdaughter, Leanne Barber (George), by his grandchildren and nephews. Special thanks to Delrose, the nurses, doctors and caregivers on 4th floor at Norfolk General, Dr. Bard, Dr. Szabo, as well as Care Partners. In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Memorial Service will take place with Inurnment in Evergreen Cemetery, Lynedoch.
