Mrs. Helen Bobkowski of Vanessa passed away at the Brantford General Hospital, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in her 95th year. Helen was a proud member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Women’s League, the Delhi Hungarian House Ladies Society and the Teeterville Women's Institute. Her love of cooking, baking, gardening and sewing, were just a few of her many talents. Born in Jablonov, Czechoslovakia on August 8, 1924. Former Helen Grace Zubricki. Beloved wife of Amandus "Ben" Bobkowski for over 68 years. Loving mother of Christine Bobkowski and Andy Bobkowski. Also survived by her five dear nieces & nephews: Mary Jane, Dianne, Linda, Jerry and Frank and by her extended family in Canada, the USA and in Europe. Predeceased by her sister Isabel Peter (2005). As per Helen’s wishes, a Private Family Funeral Mass will be held with Interment in St. Ladislaus R.C. Cemetery, Courtland. Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs, Memorial Church Fund, Delhi, can be made through the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
