Obituary of Andre Sinnaeve

In Loving Memory

Mr. Andre Camiel Sinnaeve of Delhi, passed away peacefully, on June 17, 2021 in his 88^th year, at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre. Born August 7, 1933 in Ichtegem, West Flanders, Belgium . Andre was a bricklayer by trade and an avid cyclist. In his younger days, he was a bicycle racer in Belgium. Andre built many of his own homes, along with his wife Nera. Andre and Nera, married 66 years, came to Canada from Belgium and settled in Delhi. They enjoyed traveling and spent many winters in their Florida home in Sarasota. Andre enjoyed a good card game and was a member of many card clubs. He was also a Member of Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Church, Delhi. Beloved husband of Nera Sinnaeve (Vanhooren). Loving father of Yvette Redpath-Sauve (Daniel). Special father to Anabel and Robert. Special grandpa of Octavia, Xavier and Logan and of Anne Marie and Philip and their families. Survived by family in Belgium, brother-in-law Reginald Van Cauwenberghe, sister-in-law Erna Vanhooren and several  nephews and nieces. Remembered by Alice Santos, a dearest friend of Andre and Nera’s. A Special Thank You to Dr. Thorogood and the Staff of the Delhi Long Term Care Centre for all of their kindness and compassion shown to Andre. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. vith vistation begining at 10:00 a.m. (MAX: 50 Attendees).
