Obituary of Barry Greasley

In Loving Memory

Mr. Barry Greasley of Brantford, Delhi, and formerly of Sudbury, passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, March 1, 2021 in his 83rd year. Barry had a larger than life personality that will be missed in so many ways, from his interesting and humorous stories to his genuine love of people, children and animals. In 2001 he became Worshipful Master of the Nickel Lodge No. 427 in Sudbury, Ontario. Barry was very active in Nickel Lodge and the camaraderie he experienced there was a great source of joy in his life. Barry spent many satisfying years working at Falconbridge and made many close friendships there. He was a strong family man who shared his love of nature and the outdoors with his beloved children and grandson. Barry was fond of golfing and loved to paint with watercolours and read poetry that he often committed to memory. Barry had a strong Christian faith with one of his favourite Biblical selections being Corinthians 1 Chapter 13. Beloved husband of Carol Greasley (Martin). Loving father of Derrick Greasley (Sara) and Elizabeth Greasley. Cherished grandfather of Tristan Greasley. Dearest brother of Colleen Jewel (Roy), John Greasley (dec.) (Francis dec.), Dennis Greasley (dec.) (Lorraine), Joan Wade (Jim dec.), Kirk Greasley (Adele). Predeceased by his parents John & Etta (Moore).
