Obituary of Otto Deutsch Sr.

Mr. Otto Deutsch Sr. of Tillsonburg and formerly of Courtland, passed away suddenly at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 28th 2020 in his 89th year. Otto immigrated from Vaspor, Hungary in 1957. Otto, along with his beloved wife Rosie, grew tobacco and raised his family on a farm in Courtland, Ontario. He spent his time doing the things he loved including farming, gardening, woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. Beloved husband of Rosie (Pucher) Deutsch for 57 years. Loving father of Tommy (Lisa), Otto (Carla) and Rosie. Cherished and proud Papa of Evan and Kennedy. Dearest brother of Magdalene Lampert (Late Gordon), brother-in-law of Rose-Marie Deutsch and Claudette Deutsch and sister-in-law Elizabeth Spohn (Late Frank). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Ferenc and Gizella (Horvath) Deutsch, by his brothers, Frank Deutsch and Balint Deutsch, by his sister, Mary Nemeth (Late Tibor), and by his brother-in-law Joe Pucher (Late Katie). In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Family Funeral Service will take place with Interment in St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Cemetery, Courtland.
