It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our mother Marjorie Eudene Zerbes at the Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Monday, December 21, 2020 in her 76th year. Eudene grew up in the Silverhill/Langton area and was the proud owner of Eudene's Hair Salon for almost 45 years. She loved nothing more than sitting in her chair in the Delhi salon and waving at or saying hello to all the passersby. Whenever you stopped in for a visit you did not know who you would be introduced to. Mom's favourite time of year is also upon us, the Christmas season always meant that Mom got to spoil her family. If it wasn't gifts, it was the huge meals that she would prepare. Family was the most important part of her life and it showed! Mom, you will be missed by your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You have quite a list but we will try and get it right. Former Marjorie Eudene Brearley. Loving mother of Scott Zerbes (Sheri), Bryan Zerbes, Randy Zerbes (Joanne) and Deborah Stone (Dean). Cherished grandmother of Zach Zerbes (Jess), Ashley Willie (Tyrus), Matthew Zerbes, Alyssa Lauszus (Derek), Adam Zerbes (Breanna Lynn), Tyler Stone (Jordan), Tammy Stone, Breanna Stone (Tyler) and Dalton Stone (Chelsea) and great-grandmother of Andi and Max Lauszus and Haven Rose. Predeceased by her parents, Eugene & Helen Brearley (nee: Lord) and leaves behind her partner of over 40 years Mike Hurley and her brother Harry Brearley (Mary-Lou) as well as numerous other relatives to numerous to mention. We do want to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Norview Lodge for the care our Mom received in the last couple of years. Your kindness & thoughtfulness have not gone unnoticed. In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends & family, a Private Family Funeral Service will take place with Pastor Ted Smith officiating. Interment in Rosanna Cemetery, Norwich Township. Memorial Donations to the Norview Lodge (Resident Activity Fund) or the Camp Trillium/Rainbow Lake can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
