Obituary of Madeline Evans

In Loving Memory

Evans – Mrs. Madeline Evans, formerly of Tillsonburg, passed away at Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Friday, February 1, 2019 in her  98^th  year. Madeline is survived by daughter Gail (Richard Epple), grandchildren Veronica Harris (Bob), Peter Evans, Scott Gilbert (Sandra) and Kayla Evans, great grandchilden Charles, Eric, Isabella & Autumn and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving husband, Fred in 1998, by her sons, Fred Jr. & Ron (daughter in law Susan), and by her grandson, Chuck. Madeline and Fred were proud and hard working owners of Norfolk Auction Centre. After retiring, they spent many years travelling in their 5th Wheel. No words can express our extreme gratitude to Donna Cowan for her years of endless visits bringing treats to brighten Mom's day. Much appreciation to D'Arcy, Hannah and all the staff of Evergreen Lane, Norview Lodge and all those who adored Mom's sweet "Southern Charm". Thank you for your excellent and genuine care. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 for visitation on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel following the visitation at 1:00 pm. with Rev. Larry Brown officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Donations to the Activities Coordinator of Evergreen Lane Norview Lodge (Hannah) or Evergreen Cemetery Fund will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
