Mr. Gary Nichols of Delhi, passed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford on Sunday, October 11, 2020 in his 84th year. Gary was the owner/operator of Nichols Gravel on the Brantford Road for over 60 years. Member of Royal Canadian Legion for 50 years. Gary proudly served as a member of the 2nd Batallion RCR Airborne Division Kingston and First Airborne Signal Squadron Barrie. He was also an avid hunter and angler who loved spending time at his cottage on the Pickeral River. Beloved husband of Margaret (Stewart) Nichols for over 60 years. Loving father of Sharon Jacques (Alan), Dwayne Nichols, Darryl Nichols (Theresa) and Daughter-in-law Joanne Nichols. Cherished grandfather of Shannon (Ray), Craig, Leslie, Mitchel, Lyndsay and Chase and great grandfather of Parker and Colton. Dearest brother of Gloria Bray (Gary) and Nora Dickson (Late Bob). Also survived by several nieces, nephews and inlaws. In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Family Funeral Service will take place with inurnment in Delhi Cemetery.
