Mr. Charlie Botzang of Delhi, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 2, 2020 in his 92nd year. Proud Member of the Delhi District Hungarian House and the Delhi District German Home. Charlie enjoyed cruise nights, car shows & visiting with friends. He was a lifetime farmer & took great pride in his yard after retiring. He was a devoted husband & family man & enjoyed watching his grandchildren & great grandchildren grow up.  He was truly a Jack of all trades. Beloved husband of Marie (Knolmajer) Botzang.  Loving father of Robert Botzang (Karen), Larry Botzang (Jackie) and Chuck Botzang (Teresa). Cherished grandfather of Stacey (Daryl), Kim (Dan), Kyla (Jim), Sheri, Greg (Jodie), Laura (Peter), Nicole (Joel), Travis (Val) and 18 great grandchildren. Dearest brother of Helen Heimbuch, Lena Kowanetz and Julia Scheel, and brother in law of Sally Botzang. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his brother, Frank Botzang (2004), and by his three brothers in laws: Henry Heimbuch (2015), Joseph Kowanetz (2015) and Andrew Scheel (2002). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (A Facial Covering is Asked for & Provided to Attend any Visitations & Services).  A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi (MAX: 100 Attendees) on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the V.O.N. Sakura House, Woodstock or the Charity of your Choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
