In Loving Memory

Mrs. Kathe Seile (nee: Steiner), formerly of Wilson Avenue, Delhi passed away peacefully at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre on Monday, September 14, 2020 at the age of 92. Born in Katymar, Hungary on April 28, 1928. Kathe came to Canada with her loving husband in 1950 and grew tobacco for over 47 years before retiring to Delhi. Kathe was an active Member of the Ladies Society of the Delhi District German Home and volunteered along with her husband with the Multicultural Heritage Society. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. She had a passion for gardening and making other people happy and loved playing bingo and socializing. Beloved wife of the Late Jacob Seile (2006). Loving mother of Katie Lindekamp (Mike) and Elizabeth Fitch (Leon Burke). Dear friend of Ernie Fitch. Proud Oma of Jason Lindekamp (Sarah), Monica Powers (Ryan), Stephanie Fitch (Dan Gravelle), Melissa Laing (John Wall), Julie Fitch (Jazzlyn), Karyn Laevens (P.J.), Donavan Burke (Tammy), Andrea Burke and Chad Laing (April). Loving Oma to 16 precious great-grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters. Oma will be sadly missed by her fur babies Winston and Chance. Predeceased by her parents Johann & Elisabeth Steiner and by her brother Anton Steiner (Eva) and by her great-grandson Derek Burke. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. (A Facial Covering is Asked for & Provided to Attend any Visitations & Services). In consideration of the continuing health & safety of our friends & family, a Private Family Funeral Service will take place with Interment in Delhi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Delhi Long Term Care Centre (Resident Activity Fund) or any Charity of your Choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
