Obituary of Steve Sabo

In Loving Memory

Mr. Steve Sabo formerly of LaSalette, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in his 91st year. Steve was a life long Member of Our Lady of LaSalette Roman Catholic Church and the Delhi-LaSalette Knights of Columbus. Steve always had placed people first and had a wonderful sense of humour and absolutely loved: jokes and laughing, dancing, fishing, cooking and working with stained glass. Beloved husband of Vivian Sabo (nee: Pettit). Loving father of Tim Sabo (Brigitte) and Ron Sabo (Lee). Cherished grandfather of Spencer and Griffin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Helen Sterczer (2011). The family would like to convey a special thanks to the CARE Partners, V.O.N., the Staff of the Delrose Retirement Residence, Dr. Anna Trzcieniecka, Dr. Svyatoslav Kumanovskiy, and all the nurses & doctors at the Norfolk General Hospital for their care & compassion for Steve. In consideration of the continuing health & safety of our friends & family, a Private Family Funeral Service will take place with Interment in Our Lady of LaSalette Cemetery.
