Ms. Skye Lavigne of Simcoe, suddenly called home to dance and sing with the angels at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Friday, August 7, 2020 in her 27th year. Skye had a special love of all music especially the song "Feel Good" by the Gorillaz. She was very meticulous at looking her best in having perfectly done hair & makeup and could always be found enjoying her horse back riding. Beloved daughter of Peter Lavigne and Meredith Stryker (Trevor). Loving partner of Chris Matzig. Dearest big sister of April Lavigne (Chris), Kirsten Lavigne, Linda Lavigne, Jocelyn Lavigne, Zach Stryker, Mark Stevenson and Madison Stevenson. Cherished granddaughter of Kathy Rigg, Bert Lavigne (Late Linda, 2018), John Stryker (Linda), and great granddaughter of Amy Stryker (Gary, 2003). Loving niece of Mary Ellen Berkeley, Paul Lavigne (Pam) and Kurt Lavigne (Kirsty), and great niece to many great aunts and great uncles. Also survived by several cousins. In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends & family, a Celebration of Life is planned at a later date. The family gives their sincere heartfelt thanks to the nurses on the Palliative Care Floor for their dedication and kindness during this very difficult time.
