Obituary of Jean Virag (Waem)

Mrs. Jean Virag, formerly of Tillsonburg, and Delhi, passed away peacefully at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre on Friday, July 24, 2020 in her 88th year. Jean was born in Leamington, Ontario in 1932. She worked at the Tobacco Auction Exchange in Delhi, was also the secretary at Gilvesy Construction in Tillsonburg and later was employed by the Ontario Flue-cured Tobacco Growers Marketing Board in Tillsonburg for many years. Former Jean Waem. Loving mother of Steve (Marjorie). Dearest Aunt of Judy Mayer (Late Ric Mayer - 2016) and Annette Thournout (Late Jerry V. Thournout - 2010). Predeceased by her parents, Mary Staes (1970) & Henri Waem (1973), her daughter Karen Virag (2014), her sister Margaret Thournout (2001), and by her brother-in-law Jerry E. Thournout (1972). In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Family Funeral Service will take place with Interment in Delhi Cemetery.
