Obituary of Mary Koncir (Chase)

Mrs. Mary Koncir of Delhi passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, May 14, 2020 in her 86th year. Proud Member of the Army, Navy & Air Force Unit 255, Simcoe for over 40 years, and in her spare time she could be found enjoying a game of shuffleboard with her family & friends.  Former Mary Etta Chase. Beloved wife of the Late Paul Koncir (2012). Loving mother of Mary Anne Condie (Late Rodger 2015), Carol Arnold (Glenn), William Koncir (Betty) and Alex Koncir. Cherished grandmother of five grandchildren: Greg Condie (Amy), Heather Condie (Jon), Kim Condie, Craig Taylor (Mandy), Derek Taylor (Vanessa) and of several great grandchildren. Dearest sister of Robert Chase (Barb) and sister-in-law of Mary Kluka (Late Paul) and Charlie Koncir (Joan). Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her Parents: Fred & Audrey Chase and by her three sons: John Koncir (1959), Steve Koncir (1976), Paul J. Koncir (1999) and by her in-laws: Irene Henszel (Late Peter), Emily Columbus (Late Mike) and Tony Blaho. In consideration of the continuing health & safety of our friends & family, a Private Family Funeral Service will be held with Interment in Delhi Cemetery. A Special Celebration of Life Service is planned for the future.  Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
