Mr. George Wilfred Wills of Delhi, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, March 22, 2020 in his 68th year. George served his community as owner/operator of G.W. Wills Collision Services, automotive collision repair shop in Delhi for over 36 years. He was a charismatic man who loved to be with people. His talent for telling and embellishing stories is well-known. He had a way with words and could turn any plain story into an epic and hilarious tale. George was an avid history buff & artifact collector. He was always thrilled to show & talk about his collection of Indigenous, Civil War & local artifacts. George was also a staunch Toronto sports fan, whether it was the Leafs, the Blue Jays or the Raptors. Above all, he loved his family.  Beloved husband of Cheryl (Carrier) Wills. Loving father of Adam (Krystal), Ethan, and Julie (Taylor). Dear son of the Late Thomas Wills (1972) and Anna (Hatto) Brook (Late George). Cherished Grandad of Rhys, Jasmine, Jorja, Weston and Maple. Dearest brother of Heather Dobias (Chris) and step-brother of Martha Chabot (Jean) and Linda Sands (John). Will be missed by his brothers/sisters-in-law Randy Carrier, Tom Smith (Rose), Tammy Smith (Clint) and Melodie Smith (Wes). Loved son-in-law of Stella and Claude Smith. Also survived by several nieces, nephews & grand-nieces & nephews. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the family has requested a Private Family Service at this time. Arrangements have been left in the compassionate care of the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care).
