Mrs. Irene  Henszel of Simcoe, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 in her 96th year. Irene was a hardworking and determined woman who got things done. Former Irena Theresa Koncir. Beloved wife of the Late Peter Henszel (1998). Loving mother of Peter Henszel (Dawne). Cherished grandmother of Angela Henszel (Thuli Larson) and Amy Thomas and great grandmother of MacKenzie, Augustus, Piotr & Arek. Dearest sister of Mary Kluka (Late Paul, 2019) and Charles Koncir (Joan) and sister in law of Mary Koncir. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Anna (Blaho) and Karol Koncir, by her brothers, Anthony Blaho and Paul Koncir, and by her sister, Emily Columbus. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Sunday  from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on  Monday, February 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Olivet Okoro officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Charity of your Choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
